A normal weekend but with great weather so I was able to get some stuff done. Out came the the grinder again but this also meant that I had to get out my welder, not because I made a mistake, but to just tidy up some bits to attach the dash shelf to the bulkhead where I accidently cut the lip that spot welds attached them together. I can now say that I have had my wife help she held some nuts whilst I undid the bolts! I have now got the throttle body and manifold in the car so I am getting closer to starting it, only plumbing the fuel and fitting the injectors, sorting out the wiring... and then there's the rest to sort out. I was watching a video of a VTec Mini build that had the same intake manifold as I have and they had cut and welded the manifold and not the car. They were having some issues with some clearance with a sensor, mainly the air temperature sensor. I am feeling a lot more motivated so things are moving on I will hopefully soon be introduced to someone how has already built a VTec Mini so should be able to help me.
