I had been looking forward to a whole week off work with the intention of getting the Mazda finished and maybe even putting the rad in the Mini. But you know what they say about the best laid plans .... the parts for the MX-5 are not arriving until this week so it looks as if we will be working on it next weekend . While I had some time I did some work on the Mini. The small patch under the rear seat was welded up and next on the list was the radiator. I found a plank of wood that would hold the body up, lifted the body leaving the sub-frame on the floor and slid the rad in before lowering it back down. I was hoping that everything would fall into place but no !!!!! So with angle grinder in hand I tried to make it all fit. After lots of raising and lowering of the body I still can't get the rad to fit and I had to call time on it when it started to rain. More research into how I am to get it all to fit is required.
