The Mini parts have arrived and been unpacked. With a quick look under the bonnet I decided that the radiator will never fit as it is now and I am going to have to get some more cutting discs.

The MX-5 continues to be the main time-waster. We are getting somewhere with it now though and have started to put it back together. All of the suspension bushings have been replaced along with the diff mounts. This was very difficult as every nut and bolt was very rusty and a lot of them just snapped off. This caused a lot of huffing and puffing from the son and swearing and bashing of knuckles from myself! We are working through a list of things that are going to have to be repaired or replaced. This includes brake lines, steering rack gators, track rod ends and we are fitting new sway bars as well as brake discs and pads. This should help to stop and go round corners better! At least I'll have the son to call on to help me when I do get back to the Mini, he owes me!
