I have spent some time looking at the drive shafts and their components and have noticed that I am still missing one CV joint. The car that the engine and gearbox came out of only had a long shaft on the passenger side so I still have to get the CV joint for the intermediate shaft. I do have a new set of hardened shafts, 2 new hardened Mini CV outer joints and a set of Honda Civic drive shafts, one of which is no good. So it's time to roll up my sleeves and start to strip off what I need from the shorter Civic shaft. With a little help from Dylan, we managed to get the CV joint off. I can at least build the driver's side drive shaft now. I have everything including the grease.
