Another bank holiday weekend and still not a lot of work on the car. Some stuff, but with 3 days off I am sure that I could have done more. I did manage to get the pedal box back in and investigate what the pump that came with the car is (I was told that it is a fuel pump) and I made a decision to try and fit the inlet manifold. This involved some grinding and cutting and more grinding. It now fits of a sort, it will take some more massaging to fit and have clearance so that it doesn't tap on the car and make lots of noise. I think I will have to make a box to go over where the centre speedo would normally be because the throttle body sits there and I will need some more space for the throttle linkage for the cable.
