I removed the passenger sill only to find that it was actually a cover sill. The original sill had turned into dust, which is now all on the drive! The floor needed some structure work, it was quite rusty and I will need somewhere to weld the new sill to. Many cuts and burns later, I gave up when my welder stopped working. My local salvage yard also now no longer sell to the public so it looks like I will be spending my week trawling the web for the parts that I was going to hopefully get from them....I still hope that I can get Dot finished before Project Binkey though!
