It has been a hot weekend and as the Mini is sitting on the drive in the sun all day it can get very hot inside the car and as I need to work on the dashboard not a lot of anything got done. I did spend time trying to get parts though and found someone on eBay who has started a Mini VTec and given up on it so is now getting rid of a lot of parts so a new wire loom and gear change linkage are on their way to me. I have been thinking but am still not sure how I will cut and measure the linkage so that it will all go back together and work. With getting the full loom front to back I was also thinking that I would like to maybe sort it out so that I have central locking, and I should have the loom for the fuel pump so hopefully this should make life a little easier .
